firebird3.0-server-core software package provides Firebird Server - engine core, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install firebird3.0-server-core
firebird3.0-server-core is installed in your system.
Make ensure the firebird3.0-server-core package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep firebird3.0-server-core *
You will get with firebird3.0-server-core package name, version, architecture and description in a table
